On this fresh interview on our platform, we bring to you Afro pop artiste Adequate Adaji. The fast rising artiste is said to been making waves across the country with lots of songs to his name. Adequate has disclosed to us the passion he has for music and the way music makes him feels while writing or recording.
He also talked about how Afrobeats and Afropop has inspired him to do more and the way artistes from Nigeria are being recognized globally, this has given him the motivation to do more with his music and he knows his voice must be heard. 1. What’s your full Name
My full names are Adaji Odiri Endurance
2. Your Family background and how long have you been into music ?
I am the second child/son, i was born into the family of Mr John Adaji and Mrs Mary Eyangbe in Agbarotor, Ughelli-North LGA of Delta State, Nigeria. Although I have been into music since 2014 , I started music professionally in the year 2019 , with the recording of my first studio EP titled “Morelife” produced and engineered in Ghana by Ghana’s fast Rising producer @SlimpeeBeatz, which was relased on march 6th 2020 on Apple music , Spotify, YouTube and all music stores across 116 countries
3. What inspired you and why did you decide to go into Afropop ?
My love for Afropop music basically is contagious. Listening to Nonso Amadi and South Africa singer “Shekhinah“, was a huge inspiration for me to make Afropop Music. I feel I relate more with my music when it’s an Afropop Sound. And you know, The pace at which Africa music is growing globally , I have always wanted to make my own impact on its growth and so in doing that I have to Pop the Afro way , lol .
4. What artiste inspires you and influences your brand ??
Khalid and 2face idibia are both artistes that influences my brand and my personality.
5. What is your plan for the year 2021 regarding your music career?
I’m working on a project titled #TruthandVibes, it’s a 7 track EP which I’m looking forward to release soon .
6. How do you feel to be one of the fast rising artistes in Nigeria?
I feel it’s an opportunity for me to tell the gospel that I was sent to tell and of course, at this time of the Afrobeat culture it’s feels great most especially.
7. What are your dreams and aspirations towards your musical career ?
My dream is to be an household name globally while telling the gospel through my music.
